Position: News Assistant (Volunteer)
Location: Remote with flexible hours
Language: French, English, or both
Commitment: Flexible schedule, unpaid

What you will do

  •       – Research and propose stories on any topic related to Africa
  •       – Pitch and write original articles, interviews, features, or opinion pieces
  •       – Collaborate with editors to improve your writing and meet editorial standards
  •       – Help manage content for the website and social media
  •       – Verify sources and uphold ethical journalism practices
  •  

Who we are looking for

  •       – Students, young professionals, or aspiring writers passionate about Africa
  •       – Strong writing skills in French or English
  •       – Reliable, curious, and able to meet deadlines
  •       – Experience in journalism or media is a plus but not required
  •
