About Bantu Gazette

Bantu Gazette is a pioneering news platform dedicated to showcasing Africa’s development, culture, and heritage. We publish insightful stories that amplify African voices, explore history, and engage readers across the continent and beyond.

We are looking for three passionate volunteer contributors to join our editorial team. If you have an interest in journalism, African narratives, and writing, this is a unique opportunity to gain real experience and publish under your name.

What you will do

• – Research and propose stories on any topic related to Africa
• – Pitch and write original articles, interviews, features, or opinion pieces
• – Collaborate with editors to improve your writing and meet editorial standards
• – Help manage content for the website and social media
• – Verify sources and uphold ethical journalism practices

Who we are looking for

• – Students, young professionals, or aspiring writers passionate about Africa
• – Strong writing skills in French or English
• – Reliable, curious, and able to meet deadlines
• – Experience in journalism or media is a plus but not required
