ABIDJAN, Côte d’Ivoire (BG) – La ministre ivoirienne de l’Éducation nationale, Mariatou Koné, a réaffirmé mercredi son engagement à collaborer avec les syndicats pour améliorer le système éducatif du pays, selon un communiqué du gouvernement.

Lors d’une rencontre avec les faîtières syndicales au Lycée Sainte-Marie d’Abidjan-Cocody, Mme Koné a appelé à un « syndicalisme responsable », conciliant revendications et respect du droit à l’éducation.

« Notre école évolue pour s’adapter aux innovations et aux exigences du 21ᵉ siècle, tout en visant de meilleures performances », a indiqué Professeur Mariatou Koné, avant d’appeler à un syndicalisme responsable.

« Ce syndicalisme ne nie pas le droit à la revendication ni à la défense des intérêts de ses membres. Mais il doit, dans le cadre de l’école, respecter le droit à l’éducation de nos enfants », a-t-elle plaidé.

La ministre a assuré les syndicats de sa volonté de maintenir un dialogue permanent pour améliorer leurs conditions de travail. Elle les a aussi invités à s’éloigner des influences politiques en cette année électorale.

« Faites confiance au Président de la République, Son Excellence Monsieur Alassane Ouattara. Faites confiance au Premier Ministre, Chef du Gouvernement, Robert Beugré Mambé. Faites confiance au Gouvernement et, surtout, faites-moi confiance dans la défense de vos intérêts. La volonté politique d’examiner vos revendications est clairement exprimée. Je peux vous l’assurer», a-t-elle ajouté.

Les responsables syndicaux ont salué cette démarche et ont réitéré leur volonté de coopérer avec le ministère pour améliorer les conditions de vie et de travail des enseignants, dans l’intérêt des élèves.

« Faites confiance au Président de la République, Son Excellence Monsieur Alassane Ouattara. Faites confiance au Premier Ministre, Chef du Gouvernement, Robert Beugré Mambé. Faites confiance au Gouvernement et, surtout, faites-moi confiance dans la défense de vos intérêts. La volonté politique d’examiner vos revendications est clairement exprimée.
