CNUCED salue la résilience et croissance économique ivoirienne, clé pour la stabilité régionale ouest-africaine.

Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire – La Conférence des Nations Unies sur le commerce et le développement (CNUCED) a mis en avant la résilience économique de la Côte d’Ivoire lors de la présentation de son rapport 2024 à Abidjan, le 10 février.

Le Premier ministre ivoirien, Robert Beugré Mambé, et la Secrétaire générale de la CNUCED, Rebeca Grynspan, ont participé à cet événement placé sous le thème : « Le potentiel de la Côte d’Ivoire pour ouvrir la voie à la résilience régionale dans un contexte d’incertitudes mondiales ».

Selon un communiqué du cabinet du Premier ministre, Mme Grynspan a félicité la Côte d’Ivoire pour sa croissance soutenue et son environnement économique favorable.

Avec une progression moyenne de plus de 6 % entre 2021 et 2024, le pays se distingue par sa stabilité politique et son climat propice aux investissements, selon les experts de la CNUCED.

Le secteur privé, pilier du développement économique ivoirien, devrait assurer près de 74 % des investissements nécessaires à la mise en œuvre du Plan national de développement (PND 2021-2025).

Selon le communiqué, l’accent mis sur les infrastructures, l’éducation et l’industrialisation renforce la position stratégique du pays en Afrique de l’Ouest.

Dans un contexte mondial marqué par des crises multiples – changement climatique, tensions géopolitiques et instabilité financière –, la Côte d’Ivoire entend jouer un rôle clé dans la résilience régionale, notamment à travers le commerce et l’intégration économique.

L’événement a permis d’explorer des stratégies visant à exploiter les conclusions du rapport de la CNUCED afin de dynamiser le commerce et les financements, consolidant ainsi le rôle du pays comme moteur de l’industrialisation et de la transformation économique en Afrique.
